eBay Item Card
The eBay Item Card shows all eBay-specific data of an item from the central item pool: listing title, condition, category, product identifiers and the sync state. From here you control what is transferred to eBay on the next listing upload.

The two picture actions (group Images) are active only when the marketplace item has an inventory item of its own on eBay — that is, it carries an eBay SKU and is not the parent of a variant group. For a variant group, use the actions on the individual variants.
eBay SKU per country
eBay does not allow the same SKU on several marketplaces. A Business Central item that you list with one eBay account in several countries is therefore kept as an eBay item of its own with an SKU of its own per country — every country is a sales channel of its own with its own marketplace item.
- New rows get the SKU
ItemNo-<MarketplaceCode>, e.g.4711-DEand4711-AT; variantsItemNo-VariantCode-<MarketplaceCode>, e.g.4711-RED-AT(see variations). If the suggestion is already taken in the account, the connector appends-2,-3… - Existing listings keep their SKU — eBay knows the listing by it.
- Rules for an SKU you enter: at most 50 characters, only the letters A–Z and a–z, the digits 0–9 and
-,_and.; leading and trailing blanks are removed. The SKU must be unique within the eBay account (another account may use the same value) and must not be the SKU of a marketplace offer (pack) in the hub. - Not changeable after the first offer: as soon as eBay has an offer for the item or its variant group, the field is read-only.
- The SKU of the marketplace item in the hub carries the same value; the order import finds item and variant by it (order import). If you change either, the other follows.
Changeover of existing data
When updating to this version, the connector checks per eBay account whether an SKU (or group key) is used in several countries. Rows without an offer get an SKU following the new scheme and are transferred to eBay again with Update Item. If several countries already have an offer on the same SKU, this cannot be resolved automatically: the rows are marked as errors (Last Sync Error, listing issues). In that case end all but one of the listings on eBay and add the other countries again with an SKU of their own.
Price and inventory sync
- Quantity: The hub calculates it for the eBay item itself — with every item setting of the hub: fixed quantity, safety stock, quantity percentage, max quantity, bundle content, stock source and locations, for a variant those of the variant (see Inventory Calculation). Max Listing Qty in the eBay setup caps the result afterwards; where both limits apply, the lower one wins. The location of the eBay marketplace applies only when the item names none of its own. Every country calculates on its own (stock per country).
- Sending the quantity: Quantities go out through eBay's bulk call for price and quantity (
bulkUpdatePriceQuantity), in batches of 25 from 25 items on. It changes the quantity only; title, description, product data and policies stay untouched. eBay answers per item: a rejected quantity keeps Update Inventory and goes out again on the next run; the activity log shows the reason. - Price and category: The connector reads an existing offer from eBay in full, changes only price and category and writes it back. Policies — including the fulfillment policy of the handling time — and the description are kept.
- Handling time: When the sales channel uses the hub's handling time, the inventory sync moves the offer to the matching fulfillment policy together with the quantity — see handling time policies.
Stock per country
Because every country is an eBay item of its own, every country reports the full available quantity. If you list the same item in several countries, the same stock can therefore be sold more than once. Split the stock with Quantity Percentage or Safety Stock on the marketplace item of each country to avoid overselling — e.g. 50 % for DE and 50 % for AT.

How the listing upload works
The sync first creates the eBay inventory item, then the offer (with the price from the marketplace price list and the marketplace's business policies) and publishes it. Errors end up in listing issues.
