Otto Dashboard

The Otto Dashboard is the view of the day: what has to be shipped, what came in, where orders or products are stuck and what is waiting for you. Every figure opens exactly the records it counted. Otto is not set up here but on the Otto row of the merchantCENTRAL marketplace card and in the assisted setup, see Otto Setup.

Structure

From top to bottom:

Getting Started – shown only while Otto is not set up: Otto is not switched on in the hub, or neither the Simulation Mode is on nor the credentials are there (for the Service Partner also the installation of the seller). The hint leads to the Otto row of the marketplace card and the assisted setup.
Status – the field Connection Mode: Simulation (amber) – nothing is sent to Otto or read from it –, Sandbox (amber) – the Otto test environment – or Live (green). Choosing it opens Otto on the marketplace card, where the mode is switched.

License – the license of the Otto module, in the FactBox.

The page recalculates hint, mode and figures every time you come back to it.

Cards

Card	Content
Order status	Orders of the last 30 days by Otto status: ANNOUNCED, PROCESSABLE, SENT, RETURNED and the two cancellations (by you or by Otto).
Products	All Otto products, split into Online, Upload waiting, Not online and Sync error – every product exactly once.
Waiting for you	Only what does not resolve itself: orders with errors, shipment confirmations Otto rejected, products with price errors, orders suspected of fraud without a sales order, returns to decide (announced or misdirected) and sync errors of the last 24 hours. Most urgent first; a line appears only once there is something to count.
Connection and tasks	Otto API (Live or Sandbox), last order import, last stock sync and last product sync (red if it failed), job queue entries of the connector that are switched on, and entries with errors.

Otto sells through a single sales channel. That is why there is no filter and no row per shop.

Actions

All processing actions run through merchantCENTRAL. If Otto is not enabled there or has no valid license, the action stops with a notice before Otto is called.

Refresh	Calculates the figures again.
Import Orders	Imports the new orders from Otto and creates their sales orders, see From Otto order to sales order.
Import Returns	Imports the returns announced at Otto.
Import Shipment Status	Imports the shipments Otto knows with their tracking state – on the way, delivered, returned –, including shipments reported to Otto outside Business Central.
Import Products	Imports the products of Otto into Business Central and updates the existing ones.
Orders, Products, Shipment Confirmations, Returns	Open the lists of daily work.
Order Cancellations	Opens the order cancellations of merchantCENTRAL, filtered on Otto: the cancelled Otto positions and what became of them in the sales orders.
Advanced	Needed less often: return analytics, multiparcel shipment confirmations, carrier mapping, price reductions, SPA campaigns and sync errors.
