Category Mapping
Maps your item categories to the categories of a marketplace, in the tree of the item categories.

Fields
| Field | Description |

| Marketplace | The marketplace whose categories are mapped. |
| Sales Channel | Blank: the mapping applies to every sales channel of the marketplace. With a sales channel: only there; without a row of its own it inherits the general one. |
| Code / Description | The item category. |
| Marketplace Category | The category of the marketplace. The lookup searches the marketplace's categories or browses their tree. Leave it blank to inherit the category of the parent item category. |
| Marketplace Category Path | Where the category sits in the marketplace's tree. |
| Inherited From | The item category the marketplace category comes from. Inherited lines are grey. |
Notes
- A category on the listing itself - entered by hand or delivered by the marketplace (for example from the EAN lookup) - takes precedence over the mapping; see Category Source on the Marketplace Item Card.
- On every level the row of the sales channel comes before the general row; only then is the parent category asked.
