Blocked Prices

The Blocked Prices list shows the prices the price check is holding back right now – across all marketplaces and sales channels. It is not a history: an item leaves the list by itself as soon as its price passes the check again, is approved, or was accepted by the marketplace.

Opening the page

  • Search for Blocked Prices, or
  • click the Blocked Prices figure on the Marketplace Card or at a sales channel.

Fields

Field Description
Marketplace, Sales Channel, Item No. Whose price is blocked.
Reason The rule that was broken: below unit cost (red), margin below minimum or deviation too high.
Details The figures behind the block in one sentence.
Blocked Price The price from the price list that the check blocks.
Current Price The price the marketplace keeps meanwhile. 0 when the item never had a price.
Currency Code Currency of the prices. Empty means the local currency.
Net Price The blocked price without VAT – the rules judge this amount.
Lowest Price The lowest net amount that would be sent: the price, or a lower tier. Unit cost and margin are measured against it.
Unit Cost Unit cost of the item in the currency of the price, times the bundle content.
Margin % (lowest price − unit cost) / lowest price.
Last Published Price (Net) The price the marketplace last accepted.
Deviation % How far the blocked price deviates from it.
Limit % The limit the price failed.

The figures are calculated when the list is shown, with the current unit cost and the current limits of the sales channel.

Actions

Action Description
Approve Price Approves the selected prices that are blocked for their deviation. They go out with the next price sync. The approval covers exactly this amount; the next change is checked again. A price below the unit cost or the minimum margin cannot be approved. If the price list has a different price by now, that one is checked anew and the approval is dropped.
Calculate Price Takes the price of the selected items from the price list again and checks it – after you corrected the price list or the limits. Every price sync does this on its own as well.
Marketplace Item Opens the Item Details.
Marketplace Opens the Marketplace Card with the limits of the price check.

How to resolve a block

  • The price in the list is wrong: correct the price list. The next price sync takes the new price and sends it.
  • The limit is too tight: adjust it on the Marketplace Card or on the card of the sales channel. The next price sync checks again.
  • The deviation is intended, for example a steep price cut: approve the price.
