eBay Categories
The eBay Category Lookup page searches the eBay category tree (Commerce Taxonomy API) and assigns the matching category to items. Found categories are cached locally — including their item specifics.

Tips
Only leaf categories are listable
eBay accepts listings only in leaf categories (shown in bold). Use Fetch Sub-Categories to navigate down to the listable level.
Update item specifics for all categories
The dashboard action Sync Item Specifics fetches the aspects of all locally cached categories in one run.
Category tree per marketplace
Every eBay marketplace has its own category tree — the connector automatically uses the tree of the respective marketplace (e.g. DE, US, GB).
