eBay Messages
The eBay Messages page shows your eBay buyer messages directly in Business Central. You read, answer and manage messages without switching to the eBay Seller Hub — linked to the corresponding order.
Open the page
- Via search: eBay Messages
- Via the eBay dashboard → Messages
Fields
| Field | Description |

| Sent Date | When the message was sent. |
| Order ID | Associated eBay order. |
| Subject | Subject line. |
| Sender | Sender of the message. |
| Is From Buyer | Shows whether the message was sent by the buyer. |
| Read | Read status — unread messages are shown in bold. |
| Listing Title | Associated listing. |
The message text is shown in the Message Body FactBox on the right.
Actions
| Action | Description |

| Sync Messages | Downloads the latest messages from eBay. |
| Reply | Opens the reply dialog and sends the answer to the buyer. |
| Mark as Read | Marks the selected message as read. |
Automation
The MESSAGES job queue entry (eBay: Sync Messages) downloads messages every 60 minutes by default.
Tips
Unread messages
The Unread Messages cue on the dashboard shows the number of unread buyer messages.
Replies need an order
Replies are only possible for messages linked to an order (Order ID present).
