Item Category Mapping
Item Category Mapping assigns an Amazon product group code to a Business Central item category and, if you want, creates Amazon items for all items of a category.
Opening the Page
- Via search: Item Category Mapping
- Via the Amazon Administration → Related → Category Mappings
- Via the Amazon Items list → Actions → Navigate → Category Mappings
Fields

| Item Category Code | The item category in Business Central. |
| Amazon Product Group Code | The Amazon product type for this category. Batch List Offers (Existing ASIN) and List on Additional Marketplaces in the Amazon Items list use it if the Amazon item itself has no product type; all other ways require the product type on the Amazon item. |

| Create Amazon Items | Creates an Amazon item on the home marketplace for every item of the selected category, including blocked items. Existing Amazon items remain unchanged; the message states how many were created. |
Tips
Amazon items on other marketplaces
Create Amazon Items always creates them on the home marketplace. For other countries, use the hub action Add to Marketplace on the item card or in the item list: it offers the Amazon countries of your Amazon Marketplace Participations and creates an Amazon item for each selected country with Use for Listings.
