Amazon FBA Reimbursements

This page shows what Amazon has reimbursed you for FBA units that were lost or damaged in the fulfillment center, and for returns that never arrived. The page is for reference only: the money comes with the settlement, this list tells you which units it was for.

Opening the Page

  • Via search: Amazon FBA Reimbursements
  • Via the Amazon Dashboard → Related → FBA Reimbursements

FBA only

The page only opens if Enable FBA is turned on in the Amazon Settings.

Where the values come from

With FBA turned on, the returns import (the REFUNDS job or Import Returns on the Amazon Dashboard) reads Amazon's reimbursements report (GET_FBA_REIMBURSEMENTS_DATA) for each marketplace with Use for Orders, starting from the last report read successfully. Each reimbursement is imported once per SKU – even if, in the European fulfillment network, it comes with the reports of several marketplaces.

Tips

Inventory and money

Reimbursed units are missing from Amazon's inventory. You bring the FBA location in Business Central into line with Suggest FBA Adjustments in the Amazon Items list – the suggestion compares the inventory last read from Amazon with the location (see Amazon Settings). The settlement posts the money in the Reimbursement category (add-on module, see Settlements).
