Amazon FBA Inbound Plans
This list shows your FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) inbound plans, newest first. An inbound plan takes the goods of a transfer order from your warehouse to Amazon's fulfillment centers: you create it from the transfer order and take it through packing, boxes, placement and transportation on the Amazon FBA Inbound Plan card.
Opening the Page
- Via search: Amazon FBA Inbound Plans
- Via the Amazon Dashboard → Related → FBA Inbound Plans
- Via the transfer order → Actions → Amazon FBA → FBA Inbound Plans (filtered to this transfer order)
FBA only
The page only opens if Enable FBA is turned on in the Amazon Settings.
Workflow at a Glance
- Create a transfer order from your warehouse to the FBA location with all items that go to Amazon.
- Create the plan with Create FBA Inbound Plan – on the transfer order, or here with Create Inbound Plan.
- Work through the plan on the Amazon FBA Inbound Plan card: packing option, boxes and box contents, placement option, ready to ship date and transportation.
- Ship each shipment on the Amazon FBA Shipments page: box labels, tracking of your own carrier, Post Transfer Shipment.
- Post the receipt once Amazon has received the goods: Suggest FBA Adjustments puts the quantity on the transfer order (see Shipping and Receipt).
Fields

| Name | Name of the plan in Seller Central. |
| Step | How far the plan has got (see Workflow). Red if Last Error is filled in; green for Closed, gray for Cancelled, yellow for Shipped while Amazon receives the goods. |
| Transfer Order No. | Transfer order that takes the goods from your warehouse to the FBA location. |
| Marketplace | Amazon marketplace the goods are sent for. |
| Units | Units of the plan as Amazon counts them; a pack SKU counts packs. |
| Shipments | Number of shipments into which Amazon has split the plan. |
| Amazon Status | Status of the plan at Amazon, e.g. ACTIVE, SHIPPED or VOIDED. |
| Last Error | What Amazon answered when the last step failed. |
| Created At | When the plan was created. |
| Inbound Plan ID | Number of the plan at Amazon (hidden by default). |
Actions
| Action | Description |

| Create Inbound Plan | Opens the Create FBA Inbound Plan dialog, which creates an inbound plan at Amazon from a transfer order to the FBA location. |
| Refresh Status | Reads the status of the selected plan and its shipments from Amazon and completes a step that Amazon was still working on. |
| Shipments | Opens the Amazon FBA Shipments of the selected plan. |
Tips
Amazon still working?
If Next on the card shows "Amazon is still working on the last step", choose Refresh Status after a minute – here for the selected plan or on the card (see When Amazon Is Still Working or Rejects).
Inventory
The connector reads what has arrived at Amazon from Amazon's inventory ledger (see Amazon FBA Ledger Entries). The FBA_INVENTORY job reads the total inventory at Amazon; to read it by hand, use Refresh FBA Inventory in the Amazon Items list.
