Tax Rates
Management page for Tax Rates in the Shopware 6 shop. Mapping to BC VAT product posting groups is essential for correct taxation of imported orders.
Opening the Page
- Via search: Shopware 6 Tax Rates
- Via the Shopware 6 Setup → Navigation
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | Tax rate name (e.g. Standard rate, Reduced rate). Read-only. |
| Tax Rate | Tax percentage (e.g. 19, 7). Read-only. |
| Is Default | Marks the shop's default tax rate. |
| BC VAT Prod. Posting Group | Mapping to BC VAT Product Posting Group. Editable — must be assigned manually. |
| ID | Shopware UUID (hidden by default). |
Actions
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Sync Tax Rates | Downloads all tax rates from the shop and auto-matches by percentage. |
| Auto-Match | Matches Shopware 6 tax rates with BC VAT Product Posting Groups by percentage. |
| Validate Mapping | Checks that all tax rates have a BC VAT Product Posting Group assigned. |
Important
All tax rates must be mapped to a BC VAT Product Posting Group for orders to be imported correctly. Use the Validate Mapping action to identify missing mappings.
