Listing Preparation Assistant

The Listing Preparation Assistant guides you step by step through the creation of a new Amazon listing. It ensures that all required fields are filled in.

Opening the Page

  • Via the Amazon Dashboard → Listing Prep Wizard
  • Via the Amazon Dashboard → Prepare Listing

Steps

  1. Select Product Type — Choose the appropriate Amazon product type.
  2. Review Required Fields — The assistant displays all fields required by Amazon.
  3. Complete Data — Fill in missing fields.
  4. Create Listing — The listing is submitted to Amazon as a feed.

Product Type Definitions

First download the product type definitions from Amazon (Fetch Product Type Definition in the Dashboard). These determine which fields are mandatory for your product type.
