Kaufland Categories

List view of the Kaufland categories, the product categories from the Kaufland catalog. Categories are hierarchical; their attributes determine which details the product data of a product in that category needs.

Kaufland keeps the category tree per storefront in its language. A category therefore appears once per storefront in the list, with its name in that storefront's language.

Fields

Field Description
Category ID ID that Kaufland gives the category. Product data names its category by this ID.
Name Category name in the language of the storefront.
Level Hierarchy level in the category tree.
Is Leaf Whether this is an end category without subcategories. A product can also be assigned to a parent category; Kaufland then picks the end category below it from the rest of the product data.
Parent Category ID Category one level up in the category tree.
Attribute Count Number of imported attributes of the category.
Storefront Storefront whose category tree the category was read from.
Last Synced When the category was last read from Kaufland.

Actions

Action Description
Import Categories Imports the category tree of every enabled storefront, each in the language of the storefront; if no storefront is configured yet, that of the Default Storefront of the Kaufland Setup. The product data of a product in Czechia thus goes out with the Czech category name. If a storefront's tree is missing, the product data upload reads the name of that one category when needed. The import runs through merchantCENTRAL; Kaufland must be enabled and licensed there. There is no scheduled task for it.
Import Attributes Imports the attributes of the selected category from Kaufland, in the language of its storefront, with the value lists of the attributes that have one. See Kaufland Category Attributes and Attributes for Kaufland.
Attributes Opens the Kaufland Category Attributes of the category.
Products Opens the Kaufland Products of this category and storefront.
