Self-Booking List (Manifest)
The self-booking list is the handover document for DPD Austria: it lists all parcel labels created in a period and is handed to the DPD driver together with the parcels. The connector retrieves it, archives it permanently, and marks the labels as manifested.
Daily Routine: Where the List Belongs in Your Process
- Create labels and pack parcels during the day
- Before the pickup: run Retrieve Self-Booking List on the DPD Austria Dashboard
- Print the list and hand it to the DPD driver together with the parcels
Retrieving does three things:
- DPD AT generates today's self-booking list as a PDF (split into DPD and primetime parcels if both exist)
- The connector downloads the PDFs and stores them in the Self-Booking List Archive
- All labels created today switch to the Manifested status
Cancelled labels
Cancelled parcel labels do not appear on the self-booking list — so feel free to cancel mishaps before retrieving, see Cancellation.
The Self-Booking List Archive
Via the dashboard (Self-Booking List Archive) you can access every list ever retrieved:

Download opens the archived PDF at any time — even months later, e.g. as proof towards DPD.
Day Closing (Mode 2)
In the setup the switch Manifest Performs Day Closing controls what happens on retrieval:

Use day closing deliberately
The day closing is a final posting at DPD AT. Enable the switch only if your process requires it (align with your DPD account manager), and retrieve only once all labels of the day are created. When testing with the test account, always keep the switch off.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I retrieve the list for a past day? The dashboard action always retrieves today. Older lists are in the archive — provided they were retrieved back then.
The list is empty? Then no (non-cancelled) labels were created in the period. The connector reports this as a notice, not an error.
Do I really have to hand over the list? Yes — DPD Austria requires the self-booking list to be handed over together with the parcels. It is your proof of posting.
