Pickup Requests
With a pickup request you order DPD Austria to collect parcels at your own site — for shippers without an agreed regular pickup, or for extra pickups on high-volume days.
When don't you need a pickup request?
If a regular pickup is already agreed with DPD Austria, the driver comes anyway — no pickup request needed. For pickups at third-party addresses (e.g. at your customer's), use a collection request instead.
Creating and Sending a Pickup Request
- Open DPD AT Pickup Requests (search, or Dashboard → Pickup Requests)
-
Create a new line:
Field Meaning Pickup Date Requested pickup day — must not be in the past Parcel Count Number of parcels to collect Remark Optional note for the driver (max. 100 characters), e.g. "please ring the bell" -
Click Send to DPD AT
The status changes to Sent once DPD AT confirms the request. The pickup takes place at the address stored in your DPD AT account.
Status and Rules

Keeping Track
On the hub dashboard the Pending Pickups and Pickup Errors cues always show the current state; a click jumps straight into the list.
