DHL Parcel DE Shipping
Overview
The DHL Parcel DE Shipment Connector fully integrates the DHL Parcel DE Shipping API v2 into the merchantCENTRAL platform. The API is used to create shipping labels, process returns, track shipments, and perform end-of-day manifests.

Prerequisites
- AD merchantCENTRAL Hub must be installed and licensed
- DHL API access (API Key + OAuth2 Credentials or GKP credentials) — available at developer.dhl.com
- DHL business customer contract with EKP number(s)
- At least a demo license for module

Getting Started
The Setup Wizard guides you through the initial configuration:
- Open the DHL Shipment Setup via search or the dashboard
- Start the Setup Wizard (automatically suggested on first setup)
- Select the authentication type (OAuth2 recommended)
- Enter API Key and credentials
- Run the connection test
- Configure the shipper address
- Set default settings for labels (format, weight)
- Activate the connector

Sandbox Mode
Use sandbox mode for risk-free testing. The sandbox API creates test labels without real shipments or charges.

Separate Formats for Shipping and Returns
Shipping and return labels can use different formats — e.g., ZPL2 on the thermal printer for packing and PDF on the laser printer for return inserts.
