DHL Customs Declaration
The customs- and export-relevant header data of an international DHL shipment is held in the central customs model of the hub (shared across all shipping providers) and entered directly in the label dialog. DHL takes this data from the hub — there is no separate DHL customs page anymore.
Entering Customs Data
- The Customs Declaration group appears automatically in the label dialog ("Create Shipment Label") as soon as the recipient's destination country is outside the EU.
- It contains the header fields described below plus the embedded list of goods items.
Customs per carton (multi-colli)
With several cartons (multi-colli), the customs declaration is built per carton from its contents (item, quantity, HS code, country of origin, value, weight). The header fields below apply to the whole shipment; the goods items derive per carton from the package distribution. See Create Label.
