Shopify Items
Shows which item is listed in which Shopify shop and which listings need attention. The page reads the hub's channel rows. Everything about the Shopify product itself is one click away in Microsoft's product list.
Open the page
- Search: Shopify Items
- From the item card: Shopify Listings
- From the Dashboard: open a listing figure
Clicking a row opens the channel item card.
Items are listed from the hub's channel list, as for every other channel. The hub creates the channel row; this add-on creates the Shopify product through Microsoft's connector. Products created in Microsoft's product list or by an import appear here automatically as well.
Fields
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Shop | The Shopify shop of the listing. The same item has one row per shop. |
| Item No. / Item Description | The Business Central item behind the listing |
| Shopify Product Id | The id of the linked Shopify product. 0 means: not in the shop yet. |
| Active in Shopify | Shopify status Active — neither draft nor archived. Not the same as visible, see below. |
| Central Price | The price merchantCENTRAL keeps for the listing: fixed by hand, or the latest from the central price list |
| Price in Shopify | The price after the last sync. If it differs from the central price it is highlighted: the next price run has not reached the shop yet. |
| Compare-at Price in Shopify | Hidden; show it through Personalize |
| Sync Status | Synced or in error, taken from Microsoft's product record |
| Update Item / Update Price | Queued for the next run. Reset after a successful run. |
| Last Error | The short message from Microsoft's product record |
| Last Synchronised | When the listing was last sent without error |
No queue for stock
Stock is sent by Microsoft's stock run from its own table, without a selection per item. A flag here would promise something no run delivers. See Stock and Allocation.
“Active” is not “visible”
A product can be Active and sit in no sales channel — then no customer finds it.
Business Central cannot show that: Microsoft's product table has no field about sales
channels. How it happens and how to fix it is described under
Shop Card.
Actions
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Mark for Synchronisation | Queues the selected listings for item and price sync. Rows without a Shopify product are skipped and counted in the message. |
| Sync Products | After confirmation: Microsoft's product run for all served shops. Where listings are queued, only those go (up to 200 per shop), otherwise the whole shop. |
| Rebuild Links | Rereads all Shopify products and repairs the links, for example after an import |
| Shopify Product | Opens the product in Microsoft's connector, where the full error message is shown |
