Shopify Dashboard
The daily Shopify view in merchantCENTRAL: what needs attention in the connected shops. Products, orders and stock are carried by the Microsoft Shopify Connector; merchantCENTRAL decides what is listed and what it is listed with.

Hints at the top
At the top there is at most one hint:
| Hint | When |
|---|---|
| Getting Started | No shop uses merchantCENTRAL. Connect a shop in Microsoft's connector first, then switch merchantCENTRAL on on its Shop Card. |
| Channel | The channel is switched off on the Shopify Setup. merchantCENTRAL contributes nothing. |
Microsoft's connector keeps running in both cases.
With two or more served shops, the Status group below holds a shop filter. Empty means all shops together. The filter applies to everything below it.
On the right, the License FactBox shows the licence state of the module SHOPIFY. Without a
licence or a running demo merchantCENTRAL contributes nothing; Microsoft's connector keeps
running.
Figures
The Overview starts with five figures. Each has a subline saying what it means, and each opens the rows behind it.
| Figure | Meaning | Opens |
|---|---|---|
| Orders today | Orders received today, with trend. Subline: today's revenue. | today's orders |
| To be shipped | Open orders not yet shipped. Subline: how long the oldest has been waiting. | the open orders |
| Orders with errors | Orders whose import got stuck | those orders |
| Items online | Active listings against the total. Subline: how many are queued. | the listings |
| Items with errors | Listings whose last sync failed | those listings |
Cards
Order status — the last 30 days: New, Imported, Partially Shipped, Shipped, Invoiced, Error. Each segment opens its orders.
Listings — every channel row in exactly one group: Online without errors, Items with errors, Not listed yet.
Waiting for you — what will not resolve itself. Only values above zero, at most six:
| Row | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Orders with errors | The import stopped. |
| Items with errors | The last sync failed. |
| Enrichment failures in the last 24 hours | merchantCENTRAL could not contribute something. Opens the Enrichment Log. |
| Shops sending no stock | No location carries the merchantCENTRAL stock calculation. See Stock and Allocation. |
| Shops publishing to no sales channel | New products stay invisible to customers. See Shop Card. |
| Items queued for the next product run | Queued, not sent yet. |
| Items queued for the next price run | The same for prices. |
| Scheduled runs on hold or in error | The job queue entries are not running. |
Shop rows
One row per shop, the troubled ones first: No stock location set, then Items with errors, then Running. Because the list stops after six rows, the shop that sends no stock is never the one that drops off.
Actions
Tab Process:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Refresh | Recalculates the figures. |
| Import Orders | After confirmation: fetch new orders through Microsoft's connector and create their sales orders for all served shops. The message names the new orders in the cockpit. |
| Sync Products | After confirmation: Microsoft's product run for all served shops. Where listings are queued, only those go (up to 200 per shop), otherwise the whole shop. The message names the count and every shop that failed. |
A shop that fails does not hold up the others. Both runs go through the hub and therefore through its licence check.
Tab Navigate:
| Action | Opens |
|---|---|
| Orders | the Shopify orders of every shop, newest first |
| Items | the Shopify items with their listing state |
Advanced holds the pages needed less often: the Enrichment Log and the Shopify Shops of Microsoft's connector.
Setup is deliberately not here but on the Shopify Setup.
