Item Lookup

Use Item Lookup to quickly query the stock, bin, price and most recent warehouse entries of an item – by scan or manual entry.

Prerequisite: Item Lookup module enabled.

Workflow

  1. Search – scan a barcode (EAN/GTIN) or enter an item number.
  2. Result – the app shows the item information:
  3. item number and description,
  4. stock (available),
  5. bin / shelf,
  6. price,
  7. the most recent warehouse entries (receipts/issues).

Multiple codes per item

GTIN/EAN, item number and item references (e.g. vendor numbers) are recognized. Maintain these in BC so that every barcode resolves to the correct item.
