Item Lookup

Use Item Lookup (Artikelsuche) to quickly query the stock, bins, prices and most recent postings of an item – by scan or manual entry. Nothing is posted.

Prerequisite: Item Lookup module enabled (Setup / Terminal).

Workflow

  1. Open Artikelsuche.
  2. Scan a barcode – or enter the item number and tap Suchen (search). A scan starts the search right away.
  3. The app shows the item information.

The item number and the GTIN of the item card are recognized.

What is shown

Header: item number and description, plus

Regalnr. Shelf No. of the item card (set in the Putaway module)
Bestand Inventory of the item across all locations
Menge im Verkaufsauftrag Qty. on sales order
Menge im Einkaufsauftrag Qty. on purchase order
Verkaufspreis / Einstandspreis Unit price and unit cost of the item card
Lieferant Vendor number from the item card

Table Columns
Lagerplätze (bins) Location, bin code, unit of measure (ME), quantity – every bin holding stock
Chargen / Serien / MHD (lots / serials / expiry) Lot or serial number, expiration date, quantity – earliest expiration first; only for items with item tracking
Artikelposten (item ledger entries) Date, entry type, document no., quantity – the latest 50 postings, newest first
