API Usage

ITscope bills the API per calendar month against a quota — for example API Lite with 5,000 and API Plus with 20,000 calls per month. The list ITscope API Usage counts every call of the connector per month and category, so you see the consumption before ITscope reports it.

Opening the Page

  • Dashboard → API Usage (only with the API functions switched on)
  • ITscope settings → click API Calls This Month
  • Search: ITscope API Usage

What Is Counted

  • Every call that reached ITscope — including one that ITscope answers with an error. A call that never reached ITscope does not count there and does not count here.
  • Not the catalog import. The export download runs over the share link, outside any API quota.
  • Counting is per company and calendar month. If several companies share one ITscope account, each counts only its own calls — the quota then applies to the sum.

The Quota

Enter the API Monthly Quota of your package in the ITscope settings. The dashboard then sets this month's calls against the quota — in the card Connection and sync, in the attention color from 80 %, critical from 100 %. With 0 (unlimited or unknown) it shows the number only; calls are counted anyway.

The largest item is the document feedback

The document feedback queries every open order in every run. Within the job's time window (Monday to Friday, 06:00 to 20:00), a 15-minute cycle costs about 1,200 calls per month and open order, the default of 60 minutes about 300. The Deal Sync Interval is therefore the most effective lever; the search for orders the connector did not send costs only about one call per run.

When the quota is used up

ITscope then rejects further calls — the connector reports it as HTTP 403 with the hint that the booked package does not include the function or the quota is used up. If too many requests arrive within a minute, ITscope answers with HTTP 503; then waiting a minute is enough.
