Ingram Micro Serial Numbers
Ingram reports serial numbers per shipment. The connector stores every reported number and — with Auto Assign Serial Numbers — assigns it as item tracking to the purchase lines, and on a drop shipment to the sales order as well.
Opening the Page

Fields
| Field | Description |

| Serial No. | The serial number as Ingram reports it. |
| Tracking No. | The parcel the number was reported with. |
| Order Entry No. / Order Line No. | Ingram order and line the number belongs to. |
| Assigned / Assigned DateTime | Whether and when the number was written into the item tracking of the purchase line. |
Assigned stays unset when the order was already received or the item has no serial number tracking — the number is kept either way and can be looked up here.

Drop Shipment
If the purchase order is linked to a sales order, the connector mirrors the assigned serial numbers onto the matching sales line. They are then in place when the sales shipment is posted.
Serial numbers arrive with the shipment
Ingram often reports the status before the shipment details. The sync therefore keeps asking about a shipped order within the follow-up window until all serial numbers are in — see Auto-Processing.
