ASIN Search Filter
The ASIN Search Filter window narrows down the items for which Search ASINs for Items... in the Amazon Catalog Search searches for ASINs, and shows in advance how many items that is.
Opening the Page
- Via the Amazon Catalog Search → Search ASINs for Items..., for the marketplace in the Marketplace field
Fields
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Item Category Code | Only items of this item category; empty = all categories. |
| Vendor No. | Only items of this vendor; empty = all vendors. |
| Items to Search | Number of items the search will take, counted by the same rule as the search: not blocked, with a GTIN or manufacturer part number (Common Item No.), without an ASIN on the marketplace of the search, and not before their retry date (7 days after a search without a hit, 1 day after an error). Changing the filters recounts them. |
| Estimated Time | Approximate duration of the search, half a second per item. |
With OK, a confirmation states the number of items and the approximate duration; the connector then searches first by GTIN and, if there is no hit, by manufacturer part number. The hits go to the Amazon ASIN Search Queue for review; the Amazon ASIN Search Results show the outcome. If Items to Search is 0, the window stays open with the message No items found matching the filter criteria.
